After the Last Show
The room always tells the truth once the crowd leaves. Feedback dies, the air conditioner asserts itself, and you notice the scuff where the monitor sat.
This is a diary of that hinge week — repacking cables, labeling drives, and letting the quiet rearrange what you thought the songs were about on stage.
There are stacks of cassettes on the floor, half-finished set lists in pencil, and the first charcoal marks that will become pigment prints in The Gallery. None of it is glamorous; all of it is the work.
